Maui residents will soon have the chance to experience a traditional tea garden during this yearʻs Chinese Moon Festival.

The festival, which will be held on Sept. 14 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Wo Hing Museum and Cookhouse in Lahaina, will also feature cultural presentations and a mini mooncake tasting.

According to the museum, the Chinese Moon Festival, also known as the Mid-Autumn Festival, is when family and friends come together under a full moon to share mooncakes.
