For the second time in less than a month, the Maui Humane Society is putting out an emergency call for short-term foster homes for its dogs.
The shelter has received 24 new dogs since Friday.
With the addition of the new dogs, the kennels are beginning to look uncomfortably crowded, the MHS explained in a press release.
“Fostering is easy and fun,” the release read. “Please consider opening up your heart and home to a shelter dog in need.”
The humane society vows to provide all supplies and information needed to become a foster. There is no special training necessary to become an SOS foster caregiver.
