Manpower Shortage Results in Missed Trash Pickup in Ha‘ikū

Due to a personnel shortage, a scheduled refuse route today in the Haʻikū area has been rescheduled to Wednesday, Sept. 11, 2019.

The affected areas include West and East Kuiaha roads, Kaupakalua Road, Pakanu Street, Aloha ʻĀina Place, Hog Back Road, Kauhilkoa Road, Holokai Road, Ulumalu Road, Mauʻu Place, Peʻahi Road; and all surrounding streets and roads.

The Maui County Department of Environmental Management issued the notification and apologized for any inconvenience.
