Three Suspects Sought in Waiehu Masked Robbery
Maui Police and Maui Crime Stoppers are seeking the public’s help with information on a masked robbery reported at around 8:30 p.m. in Waiehu on Monday, Sept. 30.
Authorities say that three unidentified male suspects wearing hoodies, face masks and long pants entered the rear fenced yard of a residence on Makaʻala Drive during a reported birthday party.
Maui police say one of the suspects brandished what appeared to be a black shotgun and demanded money from the approximately 15 to 20 people present.
An unknown amount of cash and other items were stolen before the suspects fled on foot on Makaʻala Drive towards Waiehu Terrace Park, Crime Stoppers reports.
