Health and well-being company Humana Inc. is increasing its presence on Maui, with a new kiosk at the Queen Kaʻahumanu Center.

The expansion comes in time for the 2020 Medicare Advantage and Prescription Drug Plan Annual Election Period, or AEP, which runs Oct. 15 to Dec. 7, 2019.

The kiosk will be staffed by Humana licensed insurance agents who will be available to answer questions such as:

  • What are the differences between original Medicare and Medicare Advantage?
  • What plan options would work best for me based on my health, lifestyle and income?
  • What health and well-being benefits does each plan offer?
  • What options are there for prescription drug, dental and vision coverage? Or coverage for hearing aids or fitness programs? Do plans offer wellness programs or coverage for over-the-counter (OTC) items?

Agents will be at the kiosks daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., seven days a week through Nov. 30, 2019. In addition, agents can assist current Humana members with benefits- and claims-related questions.
