Documents on Maui Injection Well Case Accessible Online

Public documents regarding the County of Maui v. Hawaiʻi Wildlife Fund, et al. (US Supreme Court Docket 18-260) are now available online at http://mauicounty.us/king/.
The documents include letters to the Clerk of the US Supreme Court, legal opinions by County attorneys, committee reports, and Maui County Council Chairperson Kelly King’s memo to Corporation Counsel requesting settlement of the case, among others.
The County Council passed Resolution 19-158 on Sept. 20, 2019, authorizing settlement of the case.
“Maui’s Council remains diligent in their efforts to protect our public waters,” a council press release said.
