West Jet’s 787 “Dreamliner” to Make Regular Stops on Maui Starting this Month

Canadian airline West Jet will be debuting its 787 Dreamliner aircraft at Kahului Airport when it lands here on October 31.
Kahului Airport officials said they have had Air Canada’s 787’s land on Maui before but those were charted flights. This will be the first arrival on Maui of what is to be a regular route for West Jet’s 787, which can hold between 242 to 330 passengers.
Kahului Airport Manager Marvin Moniz said there will be hula dancers and other entertainment on hand for West Jet’s 787 initial arrival on Oct. 31.
