Rep. DeCoite Receives Women of Excellence Award

Molokaʻi Rep. Lynn DeCoite just received the Women of Excellence Award alongside colleagues from across the country at the National Foundation of Women Legislators convention in Texas.
The award recognizes elected women for the work they have accomplished in their communities.
DeCoite is the first honoree from Hawaiʻi since the awardʻs inception in 2013.

“I don’t do this job or serve my community for the recognition, but this award from other elected women is delightfully unexpected and fills me with even more aloha,” DeCoite said in a press release.
DeCoite represents District 13, which includes East Maui, Kahoʻolawe, Molokini, Lānaʻi, and Molokaʻi.
