Update: 12.13.19 10:26 a.m.: The waterline has been repaired and the public restrooms have been reopened.
All water sources at Kanahā Beach Park have been turned off due to a major waterline break, county officials announced this morning.
The park will remain open for public use.
However, the restrooms will be closed until the waterline is repaired, and in the interim, the county will place portable toilets at the park.
The department of parks and recreation apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
