Honoapiʻilani HIghway is now open in both directions. It was closed earlier today following a motor vehicle collision near Mile 35 a the Honokōhau Bridge. Further details will be posted as they become available.

The Honoapiʻilani Highway is closed in Honokōhau Valley while officers investigate a motor vehicle collision.
Maui police issued a closure notice at 11:49 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2019, advising of the closure.
The closure is at the Honokōhau Bridge near Mile Marker 35 in Kapalua.
