For the second year in a row, the local community will celebrate the start of the Sentry Tournament of Champions at the Community Kickoff event at Campbell Park in Lahaina in conjunction with the Maui Arts League as well as the First Tee of Hawaiʻi. The interactive family day is complimentary and open to the public.
The day will feature golf and art keiki activities as well as an opportunity to take a photo with the Sentry Tournament of Champions trophy while sitting in Sentry’s Blue Chairs! Local artist Mike Brown will work on a painting of the tournament trophy during the Community Kickoff event, while 60 keiki will participate in an art workshop.
Families can participate in SNAG golf games – a lively and interactive way to test your golf skills and lots of fun for all ages and skill levels – for a chance to win prizes. Tickets to the tournament will be available for purchase, just visit the Maui Arts League table at the park.
The event will be held on Sunday, Dec. 29 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Hawaiʻi Standard Time. For more information, contact Rachel Noble, PGA TOUR/ [email protected] / 860-841-2424.
The 2020 Sentry Tournament of Champions returns to The Plantation Course at Kapalua from Jan. 1-5. Tickets will be on sale to the 2020 Sentry Tournament of Champions with all proceeds benefitting the Maui Arts League.
