14 Fireworks Citations Issued, 68 Documented Cases in Maui County

The Maui Police Department released preliminary statistics for fireworks violations observed or documented between Dec. 31, 2019 and Jan. 1, 2020.
During this time the Department deployed additional officers to address an expected rise in the volume of calls in conjunction with holiday celebrations.
