3rd Annual Special Olympics’ First Responder’s Submission Grappling Tournament

A First Responders Submission Grappling Invitational is planned as a fundraiser for Special Olympics Maui.

The Battle of the Badge fundraising event includes matches against trained Maui Police Department, Maui Fire Department and American Medical Response staff.

It’s the 3rd annual event with all proceeds going to Special Olympics Maui to assist in various expenses to help participating athletes reach their potential.

The public is invited to come support local heroes and experience the joy of sport and competition while supporting Special Olympics Maui athletes.

The evening of positive competitive fun takes place on Saturday, Jan. 18, 2019 at 6 p.m. at the Historic ʻĪao Theater.
