The Nisei Veterans Memorial Center will host a talk on “Buddhism in Everyday Life,” featuring Reverend Kerry Kiyohara of the Makawao Buddhist Temple of the Honpa Hongwanji Mission of Hawaiʻi.

Focused on the practical application of Buddhist insights, ideas, and values in everyday life, Reverend Kiyohara will share his thoughts on how it can be a spiritual path of awakening.

The talk will begin with a simple breathing meditation.

The free event will be held on Feb. 15 from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is open to the public, but reservations are required.
