Restroom Closure at Velma McWayne and Pāpōhaku Park for Manhole Repairs

Restrooms at the Velma McWayne Santos Community Center and Pāpōhaku Park in Wailuku will be closed today and tomorrow (Wednesday, Jan. 22, and Thursday, Jan. 23), for repair work to the wastewater manholes that service the facilities.

The County of Maui, Department of Parks and Recreation made the announcement saying portable toilets will be provided during the closure.

The Department apologized for any inconvenience this may cause to the public.

The restrooms are scheduled to reopen Friday, Jan. 24, 2020.
