Winter Weather Advisory Cancelled at Haleakalā

The Winter Weather Advisory that was in effect for the The Summit of Haleakalā has since been cancelled (as of 9:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2020) as the threat of significant snow and freezing rain has diminished.

The winter weather advisory has been extended once again for the Summit of Haleakalā until noon today.

This means that periods of snow,sleet or freezing rain will occur above the 9,000 foot elevation.

All Sunrise Reservations for today were cancelled.
