Wailea Realty Corp. + Windermere Real Estate will host its second annual Economic Summit on Thursday, March 19, from 9:30 to noon at the Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea.

The headliners of this year’s summit are Windermere Real Estate Chief Economist Matthew Gardner and local economist and TZ Economics Principal Paul Brewbaker. Both will share updates and projections for the local and national economies, as well as their predictions for the local and national housing markets.

“Our esteemed economists will give insights on critical factors from both a national and local perspective,” said Brad MacArthur, co-owner of Wailea Realty Corp. + Windermere Real Estate.

“These factors impact our resort real estate market in South Maui and housing on Maui in general.”

Brewbaker and Gardner’s presentation will be followed by a question-and-answer session. Attendees can ask questions on a range of topics, everything from stock market volatility to mortgage rates to the economic impact of the coronavirus outbreak.

“It will be fascinating to hear how the real estate market will be affected by the current political climate, coronavirus, and the vacation rental market in Hawai‘i,” said Tom Tezak, co-owner of Wailea Realty Corp + Windermere Real Estate.
