The Maui Academy of Performing Arts (MAPA) decided to suspend all educational programming indefinitely – programming includes classes and camps for all ages.

The decision came as a support of social distancing guidelines set forth by the CDC and Hawai’i Department of Health to contain the spread of COVID-19.

“The length of the pause in our services will be determined by the success of the virus’ containment. We are hopeful that, by sacrificing now and working together for the greater good, in the coming weeks new CDC guidelines will clear us to once again gather together,” a message from their website read.

The proceeding of MAPA’s Spring Extravaganza event will be determined by the length of the class pause.
