Texaco Hawaiʻi Locations to Remain Open

Island Energy Services, LLC announced it is continuing to operate as an essential service, with no interruptions to the fuel supply, inventories or its Hawai‘i operations in general, the company announced Sunday. 

“Island Energy is continuing to serve its customers’ needs through its 57 Texaco® station statewide. Our employees are continuing to work around the clock to provide transportation fuels to the general public and its commercial accounts, including government vehicle fleets, utilities, and aviation customers. At this time, more than ever, we remain ready to serve Hawaii’s fuel needs and are continuing to distribute products via our logistics infrastructure without interruption,” Island Energy Services president Jon Mauer said in a press release. 

Gov. David Ige previously announced that fuel distribution is considered part of Hawaiʻi’s critical infrastructure and continued availability of fuel an essential need.

All Texaco stations statewide will remain open to customers. 

“The coronavirus is causing increasing concern in our communities and we want to reassure customers across the state that Texaco locations will remain open for business. Station employees are continuing to take extra precautions to keep everyone safe when visiting our locations. As part of the state’s critical infrastructure, we take this role seriously and will continue to serve our communities during this time of uncertainty, “ Mauer added.
