Council Chair Alice L. Lee announced reduced hours for public services provided by the County Clerk’s Office as a precautionary measure to fight the spread of COVID-19.

Starting March 24, 2020, the Office of the County Clerk will provide in-person election-related services to the public by appointment only from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, until further notice. Office staff will be available to assist the public by phone on those same days from 7:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

Members of the public are asked to call the office at (808) 270-7749 for assistance and if necessary, to schedule an appointment to come into the office.

“Making this change will help protect both the public and those working in the Office of the County Clerk while still allowing the Office to provide critical services relating to this year’s elections,” Lee said. “In addition, this appointment system will aid us in controlling the number of individuals within the office so we can prevent large gatherings.”
