Maui Health is partnering with the Maui Health Foundation to serve as a community drop-off site for Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) donations.

“PPE donations such as N95 masks, face shields, etc. will be gratefully received and will be allocated to the areas of greatest need in our hospitals and within the community. This will help ensure we can continue to protect our patients, providers, staff and the people of Maui,” according to Maui Health.

Maui Health called the situation “unprecedented and unpredictable,” and said it is partnering with the Foundation “in an abundance of caution,” to handle the donations.

“We have seen a tremendous outpouring of support in the community. We are humbled by the generosity of individuals, nonprofits and others who are reaching out to offer their support,” Maui Health reports.
