LIST: Maui Road Closures This Week
Here is a list of lane closures slated for this week, April 11 to April 17, on Maui.
1) HAIKU (24-HOUR WORK)
Lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in the westbound direction in the vicinity of Papaʻaʻea Road on Saturday, April 11, through Friday, April 17, over a 24-hour period, for retaining wall work.
2) KAHULUI (NIGHT WORK)
Closure of one direction at a time of Hāna Highway (Route 36) between Kaʻahumanu Avenue and Dairy Road on Monday evening, April 13, through Saturday morning, April 18, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., for paving work. Alternating traffic control (contraflow) of open lanes will allow single lane traffic in both directions.
3) PĀʻIA
Lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 36) in the westbound direction between Lae Street and Kūʻau Beach Place on Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for sewer-line replacement.
4) HAʻIKŪ TO HĀNA (LOCAL ACCESS RESTRICTION)
Hāna Highway (Route 360) between Kapakalua Road and Hāna Town is restricted to local traffic until further notice beginning March 18, 2020. The local access restriction is being put in place to address access and congestion concerns due to roadwork and vehicles along the two-lane highway.
— HONOAPIʻILANI HIGHWAY (ROUTE 30) —
1) LAHAINA
Left lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the westbound direction between Aholo Road and Lahainaluna Road on Tuesday, April 14, through Thursday, April 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.
2) LAHAINA
Lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the westbound direction at the intersection of Honoapiilani Highway and Hokiokio Place, from Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., for traffic signal replacement.
3) WAIKAPŪ
Traffic pattern change (detour) on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction between Kuihelani Highway and Waiko Road on Monday, April 13, through Friday, April 17, from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., for road reconstruction and resurfacing. Southbound traffic will remain on Honoapiʻilani Highway.
