Maui Family Support Services Inc. captured surveillance images of two individuals allegedly stealing gas from their nonprofit vehicle early Monday morning.

The incident was reported at around 2:30 am. on Monday, April 20, 2020 at the business located at 1844 Wili Pa Loop in Wailuku.

Executives say a female individual in a flower print shirt, shorts, slippers and a hat, punctured the gas tank of one of the business vehicles and siphoned gas into a bucket.

“The woman left the hose running into a bucket while the gas drained, and about two-and-a-half hours later at 5 a.m., another individual in a hoodie, black shorts and black sneakers arrived to take the bucket of gas.

Company executives called the theft “brazen” and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the individuals pictured.
