Dennis Toshio Nakagawa, 76, of Kihei, Maui, passed away on Dec. 15, 2020. He was born on Sept. 11, 1944, in Wailuku.

Private family services will be held.

Dennis retired from the US Army. He was predeceased by his wife, Patricia Nakagawa; parents, Michael & Alice Nakagawa; and sister, Claire Matsumoto.

He is survived by his siblings, Bernadine Toyama, Blaise (May) Nakagawa, Judy Kimura, Joan Takakura, Juliet (George) Katayama; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Tina Graham

June 15, 1957 – Dec. 1, 2020

Tina Marie Graham, 63, died Dec. 1, 2020. Tina was a pure soul who lived her life on her terms. Tina was loved and accepted by the Hawaiian community as one of their own. The local Hilo community has been amazing and fitting. She was respected, accepted and allowed to live her life in a place she truly called home.

Tina always spoke and approached life from her heart. She found a place on this earth that allowed her to live without pretense or judgement from those around her.

As comfortable as she was in her own skin, she extended that comfort and openness to those she interacted with. My mother and I are shocked and devastated by her loss. I ask for all to please take a moment to put a positive vibe out to Tina’s spirit and the next journey her soul is currently on. I hope and pray all of you find your place on this current journey to have love, compassion and respect for yourself and all in your orbit. May god bless you and yours. At the Lotus Feet of Amma,
