A 73-year-old California man suffered lacerations to his calf in an apparent shark bite incident off of Kāʻanapali Beach in West Maui.

Crews responded to the call at around 7:45 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 22, 2021 in the area fronting the Westing Kāʻanapali Ocean Resort.
