Kamehameha Schools Maui announced it will cancel the school’s 2021 Hoʻolauleʻa that was scheduled for March 6, 2021.

“The safety and health of our community is very important to us.  Further, the COVID-19 Pandemic has created hardships and stress for many.  With these things in mind, we are very disappointed to make this announcement, but we have a duty to help to keep our community safe,” according to a letter to the organizing committee.

“The Class of 2023 would still like to fulfill their class kuleana as event hosts and they have created a Hoʻolauleʻa logo design.  The opportunity to purchase Hoʻolauleʻa logo will be shared soon,” organizers said.
