Drive-through COVID-19 testing will be available in Upcountry Maui on Friday, Feb. 12, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Mayor Hannibal Tavares Community Center in Pukalani.

Residents need not meet any criteria for the free test, but must pre-register at www.minitmed.com/pre-register-maui-covid-19.

“We’re continuing to ask people not to gather, especially for Sunday’s Super Bowl game,” Mayor Michael Victorino said. “Free testing, along with not getting together, is another important way to protect our community. Mahalo to Minit Medical Urgent Care for working with Maui County to provide COVID testing that is a quick and simple way to put your mind at ease and protect your family and friends.”

Participants must wear a face mask, and are urged to arrive at their scheduled time. Results will be reported on the same day as testing.
