She led a corporate campaign that raised more than a million dollars annually for United Ways across Colorado and served on the Emerging Leaders Council of Mile High United Way.  Maui United Way believes that Shanda will add value to its mission and contribute to its efforts to collect and analyze data to better understand the current and emerging needs of our community,” according to the MUW press release.

Nicholas Winfrey, President, and CPO said, “We’re incredibly grateful for Shanda and all of our board members and the expertise, passion, and commitment they add to Maui United Way. Their pledge of ‘doing more good’ goes a long way and we’re excited to see how we can utilize our resources to accomplish more together.”

Vangas said, ”It is a privilege to be invited to serve on the Maui United Way board of directors. The organization plays a critical role in our community. I look forward to working with my fellow board members, the staff, and volunteers to do more good in Maui County.”
