List: Maui Weekly Lane Closures Through Nov. 19

The state Department of Transportation is working on several road projects that will result in lane closures through Nov. 19, 2021.

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.  All projects are weather permitting.

Below is a list of road closures slated for this week:

— Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) —

Wailuku: Right shoulder closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction between mile markers 2.6 and 3.5, Olo Place and Golf Course Road, on Thursday, Nov. 18 through Friday, Nov. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping work.

Māʻalaea: Right lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) possible in either direction between mile markers 5.2 and 6.1, N Kihei Road and Māʻalaea Road, on Monday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail repair work.

Lahaina: Left lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) possible in either direction between mile markers 19.8 and 21, Aholo Road and Lahainaluna Road, on Tuesday, Nov. 16 through Thursday, Nov. 18, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping work.

Lahaina: Right lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction near mile marker 20, between Prison Street and Shaw Street, on Monday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for fence replacement work.

Lahaina: Right lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction between mile markers 21.3 and 21.6, Hinau Street and Keawe Street, on Monday, Nov. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping work.

Lahaina: Right lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction between mile markers 21.5 and 21.8, Kapunakea Street and Honoapiʻilani Highway, on Monday, Nov. 15, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping work.

Lahaina: Single lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between mile markers 22.7 and 28.6, Leialiʻi Parkway and Lower Honoapiʻilani Road, on Monday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for pavement marking work.

— Piʻilani Highway (Route 31) —

Kīhei: Right lane closure on Piʻilani Highway (Route 31) in the northbound direction between mile markers 1.4 and 1.9, Kaonoulu Street and Kulanihakoi Road, on Monday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 19, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for improvements at Piilani Highway and Kulanihakoi Road intersection.

— Kaʻahumanu Avenue (Route 32) —

Wailuku: Single lane closure on Kaʻahumanu Avenue (Route 32) in the westbound direction between mile markers 0.4 and 0.8, Kinipopo Street and Lunalilo Street, on Tuesday, Nov. 16, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscape maintenance.

— Hāna Highway (Route 360) —

Haʻikū (24-hour weekly work): Single lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in the westbound direction between mile markers 2.9 and 3.1, Lupi Road and East Waipiʻo Road, on Monday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 19, 24-hours a day, for emergency drainage improvements.

Keʻanae (24-hour work): Single lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in the eastbound direction between mile markers 11.9 and 13, near Kaumahina State Wayside Park and Honomanū Stream, 24-hours a day, until further notice, for rockfall mitigation work.

Wailua: Shoulder closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in the westbound direction between mile markers 18 and 18.3, near Waiokamilo Stream and Wailua Road, on Monday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 19, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for irrigation system improvements.

—Kahekili Highway (Route 340) —

Wailuku: Single lane closure on Kahekili Highway (Route 340) in both directions near mile marker 2.4, in the vicinity of the Waiheʻe River, on Monday, Nov. 15 through Friday, Nov. 19, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for water line improvement work.
