The Hawaiʻi High School Athletic Association welcomes the return of state championships in almost two years. However, due to state, county, and facility COVID-19 regulations, the following must be enforced:

  • All participants must either be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have been tested prior to the event. See www.sportshigh.com for full details.
  • Spectators must be fully vaccinated (two weeks following the second dose of either the Moderna or Pfizer vaccine; or two weeks following the Johnson & Johnson vaccine). Spectators must show proof of vaccination along with a government issued ID for verification.
  • Digital ticketing will be used for most events to limit attendance and for contact tracing purposes. Digital tickets will be sold through the GoFan app or website https://gofan.co/app/school/HHSAA
  • Due to space limitations, there will be no spectators allowed at the bowling state championships.
