List: Maui Weekly Lane Closures Through Nov. 26

The state Department of Transportation is working on several road projects that will result in lane closures through Nov. 26, 2021.

Lane closure schedules may change at any time without further notice.  All projects are weather permitting.

There will be no daytime roadwork scheduled on Thursday, Nov. 25, in observance of Thanksgiving Day, unless permitted.

Below is a list of road closures slated for this week:

— Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) —

Wailuku: Right shoulder closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the southbound direction between mile markers 2.6 and 3.5, Olo Place and Golf Course Road, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping work.

Māʻalaea: Right lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) possible in either direction between mile markers 5.2 and 6.1, N Kihei Road and Maalaea Road, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for guardrail repair work.

Lahaina: Left lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) possible in either direction between mile markers 19.6 and 19.9, Front Street and ʻAholo Road, on Monday, Nov. 22, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for tree trimming work.

Lahaina: Left lane closure on Honoapiilani Highway (Route 30) possible in either direction between mile markers 19.8 and 21, ʻAholo Road and Lahainaluna Road, on Tuesday, Nov. 23 through Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., for landscaping work.

Lahaina: Right lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in the northbound direction near mile marker 20, between Prison Street and Shaw Street, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for fence replacement work.

Lahaina: Single lane closure on Honoapiʻilani Highway (Route 30) in both directions between mile markers 22.7 and 28.6, Leialiʻi Parkway and Lower Honoapiʻilani Road, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for pavement marking work.

— Piʻilani Highway (Route 31) —

Kīhei: Right lane closure on Piʻilani Highway (Route 31) in the northbound direction between mile markers 1.4 and 1.9, Kaonoulu Street and Kūlanihākoʻi Road, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Friday, Nov. 26, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for improvements at Piʻilani Highway and Kūlanihākoʻi Road intersection.

— Hāna Highway (Route 360) —

Haʻikū: Single lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 36) possible in either direction between mile markers 13 and 16.2, Valley Isle Memorial Park and Kaupakalua Road, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Friday, Nov. 26, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail maintenance.

Haʻikū to Hāna: Single lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) possible in either direction between mile markers 0.0 and 34.9, Kaupakalua Road and Hāna Beach Park, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Friday, Nov. 26, from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m., for guardrail maintenance.

Haʻikū (24-hour weekly work): Single lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in the westbound direction between mile markers 2.1 and 3.2, Lupi Road and E Waipiʻo Road, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Friday, Nov. 26, 24-hours a day, for emergency drainage improvements.

Keʻanae (24-hour work): Single lane closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in the eastbound direction between mile markers 11.9 and 13, near Kaumahina State Wayside Park and Honomanu Stream, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24, 24-hours a day, for rockfall mitigation work.

Wailua: Shoulder closure on Hāna Highway (Route 360) in the westbound direction between mile markers 18 and 18.3, near Waiokamilo Stream and Wailua Road, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., for irrigation system improvements.

— Haleakalā Highway (Route 37) —

Puʻunēnē: Single lane closure on Haleakalā Highway (Route 37) possible in either direction near mile marker 6.7, near Makani Road, on Monday, Nov.22 through Wednesday, Nov. 24, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., for traffic loop installation.

—Kahekili Highway (Route 340) —

Wailuku: Single lane closure on Kahekili Highway (Route 340) in both directions near mile marker 2.4, in the vicinity of the Waiheʻe River, on Monday, Nov. 22 through Friday, Nov. 26, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., for water line improvement work.
