Kaunoa Senior Services announces virtual classes in November

Kaunoa Senior Services announced its November virtual classes for seniors ages 55 and older. 

All classes are available online via Zoom and include: 

Special Interest:

  • The Geography of India from 1 p.m. – 2 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 16
  • Introduction to Apple iPad from 11 a.m. – noon Thursday, Nov. 16

Wellness and Fitness: 

  • Stronger Bodies, Smarter Brains, Better Brains, Better Bodies (a total-body workout to improve cognitive function, overall strength, balance, and flexibility) at 9 a.m. Tuesdays, Nov. 7 – 28 (also available in-person at Kaunoa Senior Center in Spreckelsville) 
  • Move It! Mondays at 8 a.m. Nov. 6 – 27 (also available in-person at Kaunoa Senior Center)
  • Stretching at 9 a.m. on Tuesdays, Nov. 7 – 28
  • Interval Training at 9 a.m. on Wednesdays, Nov. 1 – 29 and Fridays, Nov. 3 and 17 
  • Low-Impact Aerobics at 9 a.m. on Thursdays, Nov. 2 – 30 (except Nov. 23)
  • Yoga – Level 1 at 1:30 p.m. on Tuesdays, Nov. 7 – Dec. 19 (also available in-person at Kaunoa Senior Center)

Line Dancing:

  • Beginners – Improver Level at 12:30 p.m. Mondays, Nov. 6 – Dec. 18 (also available in-person at Kaunoa Senior Center)
  • Intermediate at 9 a.m. Thursdays, Nov. 2 – Dec. 14 (except Nov. 23) (also available in-person at Kaunoa Senior Center)

Art Favorites:

  • Bamboo Watercolor Painting from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Mondays, Nov. 6 and 13, AND Dec. 4 and 11
  • Step-by-Step Acrylic Painting “Kula Persimmons” from 10 a.m. – 11:30 a.m. Wednesdays, Nov. 8 and 15
