Pharmacy technicians share career information at Molokaʻi High School’s Future Fest

Two lead pharmacy technicians with Molokaʻi Drugs, Inc. shared career information with Molokaʻi High School students during a recent Future Fest 2024 event.

The goal of this annual career event is to expose students to traditional and innovative careers.

As guest speakers, Precious Asuncion and Tyra-Lynn Mollena-Lopez interacted with dozens of students, sharing information about employment at a community pharmacy. They also provided insights on garnering the national certification as a pharmacy technician (CPhT) and how the accomplishment can be a stepping stone to becoming a staff pharmacist.
