Theatre Theatre Maui (TTM) announced their summer youth performance schedule of Mean Girls Jr., sponsored by Wave of Harmony Foundation. Shows will be held July 18, 19, 20 and 21 in Lahaina on the campus of Lahaina Intermediate School in their Cafeteria. Showtimes are Thursday, Friday and Saturday at 7 p.m., and Saturday and Sunday at 2 p.m.

The cast of 42 Maui youth are led by returning Camp Director Kristi Scott, of GreatScott Productions, along with Music Director Vania Jerome, Assistant Director Francis Tauʻa, Choreographer Felicia Chernicki-Wulf, Set Designer Caro Walker, Stage Manager Victoria Navarro, and Lynda Timm, Costumier.  Rounding out the team are Social Media Manager Chloe Chin, Camp Assistant Sawyer Dunning-Zeches, Assistant to the Stage Manager, Adam Kurulgan, and a core group of volunteers including TTM Board President Annabehl Sinclair-Delaney as Production Coordinator, and Marisa Utrillo as Parent Coordinator.

Adapted from the blockbuster film and Broadway hit, this musical is a junior version, suitable for all ages, and is filled with catchy music besides conveying positive life-lessons. In addition to partial funding from the County of Maui’s Office of Economic Development, it was recently announced that TTM’s summer production is being sponsored by the Wave of Harmony Foundation in partnership with the Gilbert & Aileen Kam Chuck Charitable Trust.

“This incredibly generous sponsorship is covering all summer tuition costs for this camp, our Kamp Krazy Tales, production expenses and best of all, providing free tickets for the entire community,” said Sinclair-Delaney. “We look forward to their sustained support in our season ahead during upcoming after-school and school-break programs. We are also very grateful to Lahaina Intermediate School for providing TTM with a venue, which was no easy task this summer.”
