Maui’s Reagan James Miles wins boys 15-18 division of the HSJGA 2024 Oʻahu Junior Championship

Oʻahu Junior Championship 13-18 Winners

Mauiʻs Reagan James Miles of Kīhei won the Boys 15-18 division of the 2024 Oʻahu Junior Championship held this week on Oʻahu.

The Hawaiʻi State Junior Golf Association and First Tee – Hawaiʻi conducted the 2024 Oʻahu Junior Championship at 360 Ewa Beach Country Club on July 22-24. The event was 36 holes (two days) for ages 7-12, and 54 holes (three days) for ages 13-18.

A total of 87 junior golfers from across the state teed up in the event. This tournament awards points for HSJGA | FTH Player of the Year and the season race to the coveted HSJGA | FTH Tour Championship on Maui in December (an event that is by invitation only to top finishers on the HSJGA|FTH Points List throughout the season).

2024 Oʻahu Junior Championship winners include:

  • Boys 7-10: Logan Matsumoto, Pearl City
  • Boys 11-12: Kyle Schmidt, Honolulu
  • Boys 13-14: Carson Kage, ʻAiea
  • Boys 15-18: Reagan James Miles, Kīhei
  • Girls 11-12: Lucy Cui, Honolulu
  • Girls 13-14: Makena Yonemura, Waipahu
  • Girls 15-18: Mariko Yonemura, Waipahu
Oʻahu Junior Championship 7-12 Winners

The age divisions, par and approximate yardage were as follows:

  • Boys 7-10, Par 72, Red Tees (4,894 yards)
  • Boys 11-12, Par 72, Gold Tees (5,342 yards)
  • Boys 13-14, Par 72, Blue Tees (6,312 yards)
  • Boys 15-18, Par 72, Black Tees (6,711 yards)
  • Girls 11-12, Par 72, Gold Tees (5,342 yards)
  • Girls 13-14, Par 72, White Tees (5,861 yards)
  • Girls 15-18, Par 72, White Tees (5,861 yards)
