Youth golf program. PC: First Tee – Hawaiʻi Junior Golf.

Parents can now register their kids age 7 to 9 for a youth development golf program sponsored by the Maui Police Activities League (MPAL).

The five-week session will be taught by First Tee – Hawaiʻi coaches and Maui Police officers on Tuesday evenings from Sept. 17 through Oct. 15 at The Dunes at Maui Lani. This session is free to participants thanks to the generosity of MPAL.

“The need to empower our youth so that they’re prepared to tackle all of life’s challenges is critical now more than ever,” stated First Tee – Hawaiʻi in a recent press release. “Trained coaches deliver the programs to kids and teens…helping build their inner strength, self-confidence and resilience, preparing them for the future. Using the game of golf as the platform, participants learn critical life skills to help them grow socially, emotionally, and academically.”
