Minit Stop announced its new bean-to-cup coffee service available starting May 1 at its 18 locations across Maui and Hawaiʻi Island.  Customers can enjoy the superior taste of two island blend brews roasted exclusively for Minit Stop by Maui Coffee Roasters.

The full-bodied dark blend is buttery with hints of caramel and brown sugar, while the medium blend is characterized by mild acidity and whispers of chocolate and lemon zest.  Both are served in eco-friendly cups encircled with a specially designed sleeve.

“Whichever blend you choose, the state-of-the-art bean-to-cup machine guarantees an extra layer of freshness and consistent quality in every cup,” according to a news release announcement.

Minit Stop also offers a selection of local-style food throughout the day.

“We’re thrilled to offer our loyal customers quick, convenient access to our island blend coffee,” said Greg Cabanting, Minit Stop General Manager. “It’s fresh and brewed to order whenever you need a quick boost.”

The specially designed Polynesian cup-sleeve inspired by Hawaii Petroleum / Minit Stop’s core values, conceptualized by Gilbert & Associates, and created by Kīhei tattoo artist Keahi Raikes.

Within the design, “family” and “community” are represented by the symbols for the lauhala mat and people.  Kalo and fish figures depict “providing” for the ‘ohana and the community, while the fern (negative) and wave (positive) illustrate the “balance”  between land and sea. Raikes’ design exemplifies the Hawaii Petroleum family’s vision of “pono,” to always do what is right for customers, family and community.
