Pacific Media Group welcomes Tammy Mencel as Oʻahu Radio General Manager

Tammy Mencel

Tammy Mencel has joined Pacific Media Group (PMG) as the company’s new General Manager of Honolulu Radio Operations. Mencel is a resident of Oʻahu, calling Hawaiʻi Kai home for the past 10 years.

She most recently served as Publisher and Market President for Pacific Business News and prior to that, held a similar role at the Minneapolis/St Paul Business Journal. Combined, Mencel has 25 years of leadership experience in media as well as over 10 years in retail management.

With a strong background in media management and sales as well as deep connections in the business community, Mencel is sure to help PMG develop new community relationships.

Mencel officially started her new position on May 20, 2025.

In the community, Mencel has served as a mentor with the Chamber of Commerce Hawaiʻi, is a member of the Hawaiʻi Publishers Association, and the Air Force Civilian Advisory Council.
