War Memorial stadium, track to close for capital improvement project

The War Memorial Stadium football field and Satoki Yamamoto Track and Field facility will be closed for a capital improvement project starting Friday, June 20, 2025, according to the County of Maui Department of Parks and Recreation.

The project, estimated to be completed by the summer of 2026, includes the completion of minor structural repairs, waterproofing and repainting of existing facility structures and the replacement of football field goals, scoreboard, public address system and deteriorated utility equipment.

The parking lot will remain open during the project.
