County Volunteer Center to host virtual session on recruiting, retaining volunteers

Nonprofit leaders, volunteer coordinators and community organizations in Maui County are invited to join a free virtual information session on Monday, June 9, 2025, to learn how the County of Maui Volunteer Center, HandsOn Maui, can help organizations recruit, engage and retain volunteers.

The session will be at 10 a.m. via Zoom and will last about an hour.

The interactive session will include an overview of HandsOn Maui and its mission to connect volunteers with service opportunities throughout Maui, Lāna‘i and Moloka‘i. Those attending will hear success stories from local organizations that have increased their volunteer base with the help of the HandsOn Maui platform connecting organizations with residents and visitors who want to give back.
