The Friends of Haleakalā National Park will host a volunteer service activity at the national park’s plant nursery in the Summit District of Haleakalā National Park on Tuesday, July 1, from 9 a.m. to noon.

Participants will help care for rare, endemic plants being propagated. The service trip recurs on the first Tuesday of each month.

Volunteers can drive up to the work location at the greenhouse. Reservations are required and can be made online at fhnp.org/service by selecting “Monthly One-day Nursery Service Events” and choosing the desired date.
