Valley Isle Community Federal Credit Union currently is holding its annual preschool supply drive for the children of Maui Economic Opportunity’s Head Start.

The drive runs through July 7. Supplies may be dropped off at the credit union’s branches in Kahului (160 Paʻahana St.), Wailuku (69 N. Market St.) and Lahaina (40 Kupuohi St., Ste. 102).

Items for donation include: composition books (wide ruled), Crayola Markers (10 count, broad tip), Crayola Crayons (large 8 count and 24 count), plastic pencil boxes, glue sticks, glue bottles and scissors (blunt tip).

“On behalf of the MEO Head Start families, we would like to thank Valley Isle Community Federal Credit Union for holding this supply drive,” said MEO CEO Debbie Cabebe. “Head Start offers preschool at no cost to income-qualifying families. With the high cost of living in Hawai`i, the gift of school supplies will help struggling Head Start families.”
