Utility work at Dairy Road and Alamaha Street to impact traffic on Sept. 29-30 and Oct. 5-9

To maintain reliable service, Hawaiian Electric contractors will perform maintenance on a steel utility pole at the intersection of Dairy Road and Alamaha Street that will impact traffic from Sept. 29-30 and Oct. 5-9 from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily. No service interruption is expected.

For the safety of the public and crews, the work requires closure of the right-turn lane from Alamaha Street onto southbound Dairy Road. The bike lane, shoulder lane and sidewalk in the area will be closed during the work.

Flaggers will be onsite to direct traffic, and safety signs, arrow boards and traffic cones will be placed around the work area. Motorists should drive with caution when approaching and passing the work zone and expect delays.
