Gov, Josh Green along with the Hawaiʻi Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity (DAB) is offering a one-time reimbursement covering 75% of the pre-tax cost of approved Coffee Berry Borer (CBB) and Coffee Leaf Rust (CLR) products.

Reimbursement is capped at $600 per acre for up to 10 acres, with a maximum of $6,000 for each pest and $12,000 per farmer.

Eligible purchases must fall within one of two periods:

  • Period 1: July 1, 2024–June 30, 2025
  • Period 2: July 1, 2025–June 30, 2026

Farmers must submit a separate application for each covered period for which they seek reimbursement. The application portal opens Oct. 1. To apply, farmers must complete the online application and upload the required documents for their approved CBB and CLR purchases.
