Coconuts Fish Cafe in Kīhei is launching a new Community Fundraiser Nights program for local nonprofit organizations, schools, teams and community groups.
Organizations will select a Friday of their choice, for families, students and supporters come and have dinner at the restaurant’s Kamaʻole location between 4:30 and 7:30 p.m. When guests mention the organization name as they order at the counter, Coconuts will donate 20% of their food order to the group.
Coconuts will promote the fundraiser with partner organizations, providing digital fliers that can be printed ahead of time, social media graphics to can post and photos that can be used to thank supporters afterward.
“All we ask is that your group help get the word out and send a few folks to join us and say hello that evening,” according to the restaurant team. “Groups like yours do so much for our community, and a lot of the families who come through our doors are part of local organizations like yours. This felt like a simple way to give back and have a good time doing it.”
The restaurant hosts only one group per Friday, so dates are first come, first served. To reserve a date, reach out to Mark Mattos, Regional Director of Operations, at mark@coconutsfc.com or 808-875-4949.
