The Roots Reborn community on Maui hosts it annual Día de los Muertos community fundraising event from 3:30 to 10 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2026 at the J Walter Cameron Center in Wailuku.

“What began as a gathering to honor and remember those we’ve lost has grown into Roots Reborn’s largest annual community fundraiser celebration,” organizers said. “It’s a night to remember, celebrate, share culture, and care for one another. This gathering is about more than one night. It is a deeper expression of what becomes possible when a community comes together.”

The organization works to help sustain the people, programs, and services that support Maui’s migrant and immigrant communities. Services include immigration legal and social services, Pacifika programming, advocacy, resource navigation, and community care.

“Every contribution, no matter the size, helps Roots Reborn continue walking alongside our community,” organizers said.

  • 3:30 p.m. Doors Open
