Hawaiian Telcom employees give back during ‘Day in the Community’
Approximately 80 Hawaiian Telcom employees volunteered on Oct. 2 as part of the company’s annual Day in the Community, dedicating their time and talents to environmental stewardship and community service.
Employees volunteered with Genki Ala Wai in Honolulu and at a beach clean-up in Waimānalo. Together, volunteers created genki balls to support efforts to improve water quality in the Ala Wai Canal and removed litter from local beaches, helping preserve Hawaiʻi’s natural environment for residents and visitors alike.
The volunteer event was part of Hawaiian Telcom’s ongoing commitment to community engagement and service throughout Hawaiʻi. Through partnerships with local organizations, employees support initiatives that improve quality of life and contribute to stronger, more vibrant communities.
