Flood Watch issued through Thursday as trough moves over Hawaiian Islands

The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch in effect until Thursday, Oct. 29, 2026.
A trough moving over the state should bring abundant tropical moisture and is expected to remain nearly stationary for a few days. Heavy rain and isolated thunderstorms are possible, potentially leading to flooding across all islands.
Heavy showers and isolated thunderstorms with intense rain rates may develop Tuesday and continue through Wednesday evening as the trough moves over the state.
