Artist registration for 2027 Maui Open Studios open until Oct. 30

Artists have until Oct. 30 to register for the 2027 Maui Open Studios, a three-weekend event running Feb. 20 to March 7 in communities across the island, organizers announced.

Registration costs $210, according to Art Maui.

The registration fee covers inclusion in 10,000 islandwide trifold brochures with maps, which will be distributed at more than 70 locations, organizers said. It also covers a redesigned Maui Open Studios website and a new guidebook with expanded distribution.

Registered artists can also attend a free Artist Sales Forum on Jan. 24. The forum will feature returning artists sharing what worked for them.

The Maui Open Studios event is scheduled for three weekends, each from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.:

• Feb. 20-21: Wailuku, the North Shore and Haʻikū
• Feb. 27-28: Kīhei
• March 6-7: Upcountry

Artists without a studio can still take part, organizers said. Maui Open Studios will help connect artists seeking exhibition space with artists who have room to share. Hosting another artist can bring more visitors and greater visibility, they said.

Lorayne, the membership coordinator, can arrange those connections, according to organizers. Artists can contact her at membership@artmaui.org.
