Schatz to Speak at Maui Native Hawaiian COC

US Senator Brian Schatz will address a public forum hosted by the Maui Native Hawaiian Chamber of Commerce tonight (Aug. 13, 2013) from 5:30 to 8 p.m. at the Maui Tropical Plantation.

During the visit, Senator Schatz will share news from Washington on issues impacting business people and indigenous Hawaiians, according to a MNHCOC announcement.

The public forum is part of a series hosted by the group to promote Hawaiian culture, nurture Hawaiian values, and enhance opportunities for success in business and education. Cost is $25 for dinner for non-members, and RSVP is required.

Senator Schatz currently serves on the: Senate Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation; the Senate Committee on Energy and Natural Resources; and the Senate Committee on Indian Affairs.
